The Digital Dozen - Paper: Day 2

Hello buddies
For the second day of The Digital Dozen's theme "Paper", I made Valentine's Day card nails. Check them out!

For the base I used Parrot Polish Strawberry Cream. The "Be Mine" image is from BM-425 and the background image is from KD27 stamping plate. The stamping polishes are Mundo de Unas Joy 73 (blue) and Dance Legend Arina. I also applied a coat of Sparitual matte top coat to make it look more like paper.

Thank you everyone for reading this post, hope you like it!! Please leave a comment:)

The Digital Dozen - Paper : Day 1

Hello everyone
For the first day of The Digital Dozen's theme "Paper", I'm posting my Burnt Paper nails. It was one of the most intriguing techniques which I wanted to try since a long time. Have a look:

First I applied two coats of Zoya Tatum for the base. Then stamped the words image from OB-11 stamping plate using Mundo de Unas Black stamping polish. After this, I applied a coat of H. K. Girl top coat.

For the burnt spot, I sponged Zoya Nyssa, and Dance Legend Margarita over it, and finally Zoya August over the other two forming a small spot. For the burnt hole, I used a toothpick dipped in acetone to rub the area inside the spot. Finally I applied a coat of Sparitual Matte top coat.

I hope you like this mani and this amazing technique...Have a nice day..! :)

The Digital Dozen - May B'day Manicure

Hello guys
For this month we got quite a complicated image, but, the more challenging it is, the more interesting it becomes to create a nail design based on the image. Cheyenne gave us an image full of abstract/ somewhat geometrical transparent and colorful flowers. Scroll down for the tutorial on how I achieved this look, but first have a look at the mani:

This mani looks complicated but believe me it is one of the simplest manis ever. With this technique you could replicate an exact copy of any image on your nails. What you need is a printout of the required image from an inkjet printer(preferably on a gloss paper). Apply a coat of topcoat on it and let it dry completely. Apply a black base(I used Dance Legend Margarita) on your nails and use the printout as a water decal!

Thank you for reading this post. What do you think about this technique? Tell me in the comments!!

The Digital Dozen - Rainforest: Day 5

Hi buddies,
We've finally reached the end of The Digital Dozen's theme 'Rainforest', and in my last mani for this theme, I've chosen one of the most well known inhabitants of a rain forest- the red eyed frog, along with a cute caterpillar. Please have a look:

The Digital Dozen: Rainforest - Day 4

Hi buddies
For my fourth nail art for The Digital Dozen's theme "Rainforest", I decided to give it a little touch of nature. In my previous nail arts, I had portrayed the trees and animals, and so for this one, I decided to portray the life on the floor of a rainforest, full of moss, grass, dry leaves and flowers, and also some spiders and foot prints of various animals.

The Digital Dozen - Rainforest: Day 3

Hello friends
If you have seen my last two manis for this theme, you must have realised that they were typical forest manis with lots of green and trees everywhere, and so for my third nail art in this theme I've tried to do something different. This time I've tried to depict a poisonous snake slithering on the branches of trees in a dense forest. Have a look:

I've used modelling clay to make the body of the snake and misc. cream polishes to make the stripe on it. For the background, I've used Dance Legend Military Collection Tank as the base and made a freehand forest on it.

I hope you like this post. What do you think about this nail art? Please share your views with me in the comments section...Have a nice day!☺

The Digital Dozen - Rainforest: Day 2

Hi buddies
For my second post for The Digital Dozen's "Rainforest" theme, I did a similar nail art to my first one, but this time I chose a holo base for the forest backdrop. Surprisingly, the holo particles added a new depth to the nail art and it came out very well. Have a look:
